What we collect, why we collect it, and how your information is protected.
CertiChina is operated by South-South Cooperation Cultural Exchange (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd, a company registered in Shenzhen, China. We provide sourcing, inspection coordination and company verification services to overseas buyers. If you have any questions about this policy, email hello@certichina.com.
When you use our contact form, we collect the details you submit: your name, email address, company, country, the service you are interested in, and the contents of your message. We do not collect payment information, and we do not use tracking cookies or advertising identifiers on this website.
We use your information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver the service you request. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
For visitors in the EU, EEA and the UK, our legal basis for processing is: (a) taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and (b) our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries. You may withdraw consent or object at any time by emailing hello@certichina.com.
We only share your information with third parties where it is necessary to deliver the service you requested — for example, an independent inspection body or laboratory engaged for your project — and only to the extent needed for that engagement. These providers are contractually required to keep your information confidential.
Inquiries are transmitted securely (HTTPS) and stored temporarily with our hosting provider (Cloudflare) and our email provider (Tencent ExMail), both of which operate data centres outside the EEA. For EU/UK users, this involves a transfer of data outside the EEA; by submitting an inquiry you understand and accept this, and we rely on appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses where required.
We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, to deliver and document the engagement. After that, records are deleted or anonymised in line with our internal retention schedule.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time, and you may object to or restrict our processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@certichina.com. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
